Post Graduate Mentorship Program

Guidance for international medical graduates settling into the US health system

WHF's Post Graduate Program for international medical graduate members provides a comprehensive mentorship program. It guides and coaches them during their integration into the US Health system, as well as helping them settle in a new country.

When you move to a new country, the language, culture and expectations can be different than your hometown. It might be difficult, even stressful, to adjust. Our experienced mentors can help you clarify your goals, adapt to a new culture and health system, identify the obstacles, and come up with strategies for finding solutions.

This program provides an evaluation of applicants' immigration status, goals and needs, and seeks to guide them in multiple aspects of life, including training, career, research, family, and socioeconomic needs, and connect them to WHF's resources.
