International Medical Students Mentorship Program

Guiding international medical students through the US residency process

The International Medical Student Mentorship program guides international medical students through the US residency process, specifically the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLE).

With the help of the dedicated volunteers among its members, WHF is committed to delivering effective and timely mentoring to its new and existing members. Mentors provide career advice for academic and professional growth as well as personal enrichment. Through a well-established rapport between the mentor and mentee, WHF IMS mentoring program aims to help mentees "discover" themselves, identify their strengths while developing new skills, and help them reach their goals.
