
Student Zone Department Intern — Social Media & Marketing
Overview
Whitetulip Health Foundation is seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student Zone Department Intern focusing on social media & marketing. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and communication within a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students in the healthcare field. The selected candidate will be responsible for updating information sheets, application forms, and creating marketing materials to engage target audiences.
This internship will be offered during the Fall (September-December), Spring (January-May) semesters, and during the summer (May-August). Dates can be flexible depending on the student's school schedule. This is a hybrid position and your time in Whitetulip's office will be determined by assignment and need.

Interns will be responsible for the following
- Information Sheet Updates: Update the Student Zone information sheet with details of past programs, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
- Application Form Updates: Revise and update the application form for the upcoming cycle to streamline the application process.
- Meeting Participation: Join monthly meetings of the Student Zone group to stay informed about current initiatives and provide input on marketing strategies.
- Brochure Drafting: Create new advertisement brochures to effectively promote the Student Zone and its programs.
- Welcome Package Drafting: Assist in developing a welcome package for new members, including essential information and resources to help them get started.
- Outreach: Reach out to target charter schools via email, sharing marketing documents to advertise the Student Zone programs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the student representative of the group and the IT department to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong writing and editing skills, excellent grasp of English grammar, ability to analyze and synthesize written materials and meet multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) is a plus.
