I'm Ready Intern Preparation Program Intern
Overview
Whitetulip Health Foundation is seeking an organized and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an I'M READY Intern Preparation Program Intern. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administration, assisting in the preparation of coursework, student registration, among other responsibilities.
The Intern Preparation Program (IPP) was launched in 2010 as a two-day in-person workshop exclusively for members. In 2020, it transitioned into a 10–12-week virtual lecture series held each spring, targeting Internal Medicine and Pediatrics trainees. Topics include healthcare system navigation, cultural competency, communication skills, clinical documentation, patient presentations, intern responsibilities, and common disease management.
This internship will be offered during the Spring (January-May) semester. Dates can be flexible depending on the student's school schedule. This is a hybrid position and your time in Whitetulip's office will be determined by assignment and need.

Interns will be responsible for the following
- Attending core planning group meetings, which last about 45 minutes (biweekly from January through April).
- Taking notes during meetings and following up with core team members on to-dos prior to the next meeting.
- Communicating with already identified speakers via email to schedule their sessions (ideally, all speakers should be scheduled by the end of March).
- From April to June: answering emails related to the course within 48–72 hours and directing them to course leaders when a higher-level response is needed.
- From April through the first week of June: communicating with the IT team to make sure speakers' Zoom links are emailed to them and feedback QR codes are sent.
- Confirming with speakers 48 hours prior to their session to make sure they have their Zoom link and QR code on their presentation, and asking if they are willing to share their presentation to be sent to attendees on the day of the session.
- Attending sessions to make sure speakers join on time, everything runs smoothly, and the feedback QR code is shared.
- Ability to solve technical problems quickly when issues arise.
- Estimated work hours include most weekends from April through the first week of June (2–3 hours).
- Weekday responsibilities take about 2–3 hours max, mostly emails, with very flexible work hours.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong writing and editing skills, excellent grasp of English grammar, ability to analyze and synthesize written materials and meet multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) is a plus.
