Medical Professionals Appreciation Dinner — 2025

Celebrating service, collaboration, and dedication.

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, Whitetulip Health Foundation gathered for a special Appreciation Dinner at the Chart House in Weehawken, New Jersey, overlooking the New York City skyline. The evening brought together 186 medical professionals for an unforgettable night of gratitude, inspiration, and celebration.

Guests enjoyed dinner accompanied by live music. Keynote speakers Prof. Susan E. Bell, PhD, from Drexel University, and Lillian Walkover, PhD, from the University of California, San Diego, shared research on the challenges immigrant and refugee physicians face while integrating into healthcare systems, the importance of international medical graduates in addressing U.S. workforce shortages, and developments in state legislation and licensure.

The Whitetulip Award of Excellence Ceremony recognized the keynote speakers and three distinguished international medical graduates whose contributions have had a lasting impact on medicine and society.
