The purpose of the Whitetulip Health Foundation Scholarship Program is to provide financial support for those in the healthcare and medical profession to enable them to attend and continue in medical training, conduct research in various medical topics, complete a specific objective in the medical field, or enhance personal capability or skills in the medical career.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1.1. The applicant must be at one of the following status:

    • A graduate from a medical school or school of other health care professions and be currently admitted by a medical school, hospital, and institute/center for further medical education, research and/or training.
    • A student of medical school or school of other health care professions.
    • Have applied or entered a medical school, school of other health care professions, hospital, institution or center for further medical education, training and or research on a full-time or part-time basis.

1.2. All international medical or other health care profession school graduates who plan to pursue further medical education and or related training in the United States must pass at least one of the below tests: Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL), the United State Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or equivalency exam of their profession to be eligible under the Program.

1.3. The Applicant should be neither a relative nor an employee of a member of the Whitetulip Health Foundation Board or the members of the Selection Committee.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

2.1. Up-to-Date CV.

2.2. A recent photo.

2.3. Transcript (including the grading scale) from current / graduated medical institution.

2.4. Diploma from the most recently attended medical institution.

2.5. TOEFL, USMLE or other U.S. equivalent exam scores of the profession.

2.6. Position document includes information related to your current position and the duration of the position. (ex: acceptance letter, DS2019 form, …etc).

2.7. Whitetulip Health Foundation membership verification letter.

2.8. Copy of the document shows the current visa/residency status.

HOW TO APPLY

In order to apply for the Scholarship Program, the applicants need to complete the below form (Whitetulip Health Foundation Scholarship for International Medical Graduates (IMG) Application Form) and upload all the other required documents listed above and click the submit button.

The form will be available to fill only in the application periods.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Applications will be open in the months of January and July of each year.

All applicants have to submit their applications during these time periods with all the required documents. The applications with any missing information or documents will not be considered for the scholarship. All completed applications will be reviewed at a meeting of the Scholarship Selection Committee in the February and August and finalized. The results will be announced to the applicants by e-mail.
