As the WHF Faculty Academic Development Department, we offer two types of mentorships for physicians who are practicing in the US and either faculty or clinical fellow in training.
Need-based Mentorship:
Choose this option if;
You have a question on a specific topic or need guidance to decide on a career opportunity. This mentorship service includes one phone or video call to answer your question or guide you through the difficulties you experience. You can consider adding a follow-up meeting based on mentors’ availability.
One-year Mentorship:
Choose this option if;
You can request a mentor in a specific specialty or one of the four main areas in academic development; clinical, education, research, and administration. Our mentor and mentee will meet intermittently on a schedule they agree on for one year.
