Whitetulip Health Foundation is seeking a creative and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Social Media Intern. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, digital content creation, and online engagement within a healthcare-focused nonprofit organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing and managing social media content, designing newsletters, and editing videos, while also learning and managing various digital tools. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Microsoft Tools Management: Learn and manage Microsoft Tools such as Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. 
  • Social Media Content Production and Management: 
  • Conduct content research to identify relevant and engaging topics. 
  • Develop weekly content plans for social media platforms. 
  • Design graphics for social media posts using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud. 
  • Newsletter Design: Create and design engaging newsletters to update stakeholders on foundation activities and news. 
  • Video Editing: Edit short videos and event videos as needed, ensuring high-quality production and alignment with organizational messaging. 

Qualifications 

  • Graphic Design: Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud. 
  • Social Media Platforms: Understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices.

Responsibilities: 

  • Grant Research: Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential grant opportunities relevant to the mission and programs of Whitetulip Health Foundation. 
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grant opportunities, including deadlines, eligibility criteria, and application requirements. 
  • Proposal Development Support: Assist in the development of grant proposals by gathering relevant information, drafting narrative content, and compiling necessary documentation. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the grant writing team and program managers to align grant proposals with organizational goals and programmatic needs. 
  • Reporting and Documentation: Support the tracking and reporting of grant activities, including grant submissions, funding outcomes, and compliance requirements. 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in nonprofit management, public health, social sciences, or related field. 
  • Strong research skills with the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively. 
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

The selected candidate will assist the scholarship department in various administrative duties, including scholarship evaluation, reimbursement processing, record keeping, and membership application processing.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Scholarship Evaluation: Assist in evaluating scholarship applications by reviewing eligibility criteria, academic records, and supporting documents.  
  • Reimbursement Processing: Aid in processing reimbursement requests by verifying documentation, preparing reimbursement forms, and coordinating with finance personnel. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of scholarship applications, reimbursement transactions, and other administrative documents.  
  • Membership Application Processing: Support the membership department by processing membership applications, updating membership databases, and communicating membership-related information to stakeholders.  
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the scholarship and membership departments, including answering inquiries, drafting correspondence, and scheduling meetings.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Meeting Coordination: Arrange and schedule group meetings, ensuring all participants are informed and prepared. 
  2. Student Outreach: Reach out to students from different states to facilitate their involvement in the project. 
  3. Progress Monitoring: Follow up with students on their tasks, ensuring alignment with project deadlines and objectives. 
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with high school students and the project leader to support their efforts and provide necessary guidance.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and communication within a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students in the healthcare field. The selected candidate will be responsible for updating information sheets, application forms, and creating marketing materials to engage target audiences. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Information Sheet Update: Update the Student Zone information sheet with details of past programs, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records. 
  • Application Form Update: Revise and update the application form for the upcoming cycle to streamline the application process. 
  • Meeting Participation: Join monthly meetings of the Student Zone group to stay informed about current initiatives and provide input on marketing strategies. 
  • Brochure Drafting: Create new advertisement brochures to effectively promote the Student Zone and its programs. 
  • Welcome Package Drafting: Develop a welcome package for new members, including essential information and resources to help them get started. 
  • Outreach: Reach out to target charter schools via email, sharing marketing documents to advertise the Student Zone programs.
