Ethical Considerations in Pediatric Research

Muhammad Waseem, MBBS MS talked about “Ethical Considerations in Pediatric Research” on Oct, 18th Wednesday at Mount Sinai West Hospital.
Dr. Waseem completed medical school at Dow Medical School, Pakistan and received his MS diploma from Weill Medical College of Cornell University in Clinical Investigation, Epidemiology and HealthResearch. He completed his Pediatrics residency and Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at Lincoln Medical Center. Currently, he is a Professor of Emergency Medicine in Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College and is serving as a Pediatric EmergencyMedicine attending at Lincoln Medical Center. He is the Research Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine and the ViceChairman for IRB at Lincoln Medical Center. He is a devoted teacher, researcher, simulation leader and mentor and has been awarded by many scientific organizations. His special interest is in psychosocial correlates and triggers for bullying in children.
