Addiction in Physicians

Mitchell West, DO, MHA / Medical Director of Addiction Medicine at Allegheny Health Network

Mr. West trained as an emergency physician and practiced emergency medicine for 20 years. In 2007 he earned an MHA degree from the Graduate School of Public Health at The University of Pittsburgh. Since then he has had international project experience in the Middle East. He’s certified in Health Care Quality Improvement and has held consulting positions in both QI and Patient Safety. He’s currently working in an urgent care setting.
